Popular girl group (G)I-DLE has once again achieved great success on various domestic and international music charts with their title track 'Queencard,' and the members have been actively appearing on TV programs for promotion. Recently, one of the members, Yuqi, made a solo appearance on a variety show and revealed the reasons behind her choice of CUBE over SM Entertainment.

On the 14th, (G)I-DLE member Yuqi made a guest appearance on the MBC variety show 'Radio Star.' On that day, Yuqi revealed that she had developed an interest in K-pop while she was in China. As a result, she had already become familiar with hip-hop artist Tablo from earlier on.

Yuqi suddenly revealed a little anecdote about her successful auditions for both her current agency, CUBE Entertainment, and SM Entertainment. She candidly shared, 'I was already part of the school dance club in middle school, and that's how it all started until now,' and 'Actually, I'm a fan of Super Junior, so entering SM has always been my dream.'

She continued, 'I actually participated in SM's Beijing auditions four times. After the fourth audition with SM, I thought about giving the following week's audition with CUBE a try. As a result, both companies contacted me simultaneously.' This revelation shocked everyone present.
