Recently, Kim Jong-kook started operating an online store, currently selling T-shirts and tank tops. There are not many types of products at the moment. Moreover, the minimalist design, with no other elements but the brand name, has attracted the attention of many netizens.
On the 14th, Kim Jong Kook posted on his YouTube community channel saying, "To reduce the hassle of buying clothes, I made my own. They are designed according to my personal taste in clothes that I usually wear. After opening his online store, Kim Jong-kook posted a photo of himself wearing a t-shirt of his own brand on his SNS as a promotion. The price of the product on sale is around 40,000 Korean Won, but unexpectedly, a "price dispute" has erupted on online forums. Compared to the simple design with only a logo, the selling price has been questioned by the public as being too high. Kim Jong-kook also responded to this controversy in a video, stating "It's not expensive at all".
Kim Jong Kook explained more carefully, "My clothes are not just simply branded. I put a lot of sincerity into making them. Since I'm picky about the materials of the clothes I wear, all these factors were taken into consideration. The price was also determined after considering various factors, to make it reasonable."
