Fans Demanding Refund over "Dancing Queens on the Road" Seoul Concert

The tvN variety show "Dancing Queens on the Road" held a closing concert on July 9th at Korea University Hwating Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. However, after the concert ended, many audience members expressed dissatisfaction and indicated they wanted a refund.
Some netizens criticized that the concert mainly relied on recorded footages and that the responses to the unexpected incidents were not enough. Even the time the concert should start was delayed, which made the fans leave the event very disappointed.
The production team released their public apology on July 10th stating, "Since this concert was also being recorded for a show, the preparation process for each performance took longer than originally anticipated. Additionally, due to a severe thunderstorm, a power outage occurred during the final rehearsal causing errors in the special effects and electronic equipment for the performances, which further extended the duration of the concert..."
"...there were some shortcomings in preparing facilities such as air conditioning and cooling systems on that day, which caused inconvenience to the audience and artists. which we deeply apologize."
Some netizens also criticized that the guest performances took up more time than the performances by the five members of the group. The guests who performed that day included Rain, Taemin of SHINee, Zico, Hyuna, Seulgi of Red Velvet, JUSTHIS, etc.
The production team further explained, "Both the members and the production team exerted great efforts for this concert. They did their best in showcasing the new songs exclusive only for 'Dancing Queens of the Road'. Out of the twenty (20) performances, including the opening and encore, only four (4) were guests performances and the rest were completed by the members."
In response to some netizens claiming that they were asked to leave the venue for merely going to the restroom, the production team rebutted, "No audience members were forced to leave for simply going to the restroom. Only those who went to restroom without carrying a ticket were accompanied by the security to their seats for verification."
"There was flexibility at the venue for entry issues, allowing audience to be able to enter between performances and be assisted in case of an emergency," the team added.
