'Hospital Playlist' returns with a spin-off: Introduces new cast members from their college days!

The tvN's popular Korean drama "Hospital Playlist" revolves around the lives of doctors, nurses, and patients in a hospital setting. It tells heartwarming stories of their struggles and dedication in the face of life's challenges, which has captivated many fans and gained significant popularity.
Recently, Korean media reported that "Hospital Playlist" will make a comeback with a new storyline, depicting the college years of the five friends: Chae Song-hwa, Lee Ik-jun, Ahn Jeong-won, Kim Jun-wan, and Yang Seok-hyeong, as they pursue their medical studies.
However, because the story is set in their past college years, the current actors who portray the five friends, Jo Jung-suk, Jeon Mi-do, Jung Kyung-ho, Yoo Yeon-seok, and Kim Dae-myung, will not be reprising their roles. Nevertheless, it has been revealed that the characters will have the same names in the new storyline.
tvN has also stated that PD Shin Won-ho, known for producing the popular "Reply" series, is currently planning a new drama. However, they have not revealed whether it is specifically related to the "Hospital Playlist" spin-off.

"Hospital Playlist" also has spin-off programs such as "Wise Disk Cleaning," "Wise Village Life," and "Wise Camping Life."
However, some Korean fans who heard the news expressed their thoughts: "Is it in the concept of the 'Reply' series?" "I was excited at first, but seeing that it's not the five original casts, I feel disappointed."
